COVID-19 forced a shift to virtual events which have remained popular as they attract a worldwide audience with on-demand access.
While 70% of our events in 2022 were virtual, we have seen a return to face-to-face meetings towards the end of the year and we anticipate hybrid meetings to become the new normal. And you can house all the on-demand links in a library on myINTERACT for delegates to access at any time.
Highlights for 2022 included St Vincent's Hospital National Inflammatory Bowel Disease Symposium, GENCA National Conference, Western Sydney Diabetes Masterclass, DOMTRU, Saudi Digestive Diseases Forum and an increasing number of educational webinars for the pharmaceutical industry.
More advertising campaigns
We continue to offer targeted advertising campaigns to reach healthcare audience with features unique to myINTERACT with great results.
Case study: During the Western Sydney Masterclass, sponsors were able to run campaigns incorporating home banners, push notifications, eDMs to reach our Endocrinology and General Practice networks.
Over a 2 week period, myINTERACT features were used to create awareness about an online training program for healthcare professionals to improve patient care.
Results as follows:

During 2022 we continued to grow our footprint in USA. To deepen our knowledge of the market and to grow our networks, we attended the American Association of Critical Care Nursing (AACN) and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) to engage with critical care nurses and hospital pharmacists. We were able to talk face-to-face, gain insight into their daily challenges and gather feedback on our initiatives. We connected with new partners to expand the channels available to these healthcare professions on myINTERACT which includes pharmacy publications and suppliers.

With the increasing media about data breaches, we ramped up security and performance for myINTERACT, to ensure our product is stable and secure as our user base continues to grow internationally. Here's what we do to protect your data:
Work with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leading cloud-based service provider, to ensure security is maintained to the highest level
Data is encrypted when transferred over the internet and when stored on disk including databases. Data is stored either in Australia or US depending on where the user is located
Perform vulnerability and penetration testing for every new release to identify any possible flaws
Utilise third party providers like CyberVadis for independent security assessment and ratings
Monitor for security threats 24/7
