Relocation of INTERACT’s Data Centre

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve scalability, security, disaster recovery and implement new product features, INTERACT Technology is migrating its current Data Centre from North California to Sydney.

Key benefits of the migration include:

  • Access more of the latest Amazon Web Services (AWS) features offered by the Sydney AWS region e.g. the ability to leverage Single Sign On in the near future and improved reporting and business analytics functions
  • Improved end-to-end encryption to meet healthcare information security standards
  • Improved reliability and disaster recovery
  • The impact of these changes is expected to be minimal and will enable INTERACT to continue to enhance its offering. Users outside of Australia may notice possible increases in network latency which we believe will be insignificant (in the order of ~500 milliseconds).

    This migration will occur on Sunday 18 June 2017 between 16:00-20:00 (UCT +10) at which time SAM will be unavailable.
